Interior design trends change year over year but we lean towards trends that hold true for years in order for our homes to remain current. We have homes that are over 10 years old that look as beautiful and updated as the day we handed over keys. This year’s color of the year from Pantone is Illuminating yellow. Recently, a 2018 Larsen home came on the market and we received many calls about the color palate we used. This hallway was painted Sherwin Williams Afternoon. This bright entrance really stood out to a group of people calling to ask who the interior designer was. We have an interior design team in house that will help you pick all of your selections for your Larsen home, but we are also blessed with so many creative clients that use Houzz to show us examples of their tastes. We also partner with many interior design firms around the Denver area if our clients want a little extra help!
Another design element we believe sets us apart is understanding how our clients will live in their home. Utilizing features that will add character to our new homes is something we think is very important. We spend time in our clients current homes in order to understand not only how they will live in their new homes, but which furniture pieces will be joining them in their Larsen home. Many times we will be told stories of vintage pieces that our clients either want to recreate or will need a place for. In the year of the home office, we also have to give a nod to home offices used as a focal point. This year our home offices gave us an oasis to take our zoom calls and connect with work.
