To the team at Larsen, building a home isn’t just about the skill set it takes to design and build a home, but more so, the relationships it takes to build a home. Did you know that if you build a home with us there will be a couple of hundred people that have to come together to bring it to fruition?
Fostering and growing relationships not only with our trades but also our interior team and our clients is extremely important. We all have to have respect and care for one another to help the process along and keep it fun. We are of the mind that hiring people who are better than us at their given skill is of the utmost importance. We believe is our job to help our trade partners with things that don’t come natural to them, while they help us with the craftsmanship it takes to build a Larsen home. When we partner with a new company, we let our trade partners know that they can lean on us to help learn how to run a successful business by grabbing coffee and talking shop, giving recommendations on insurance agencies or payroll companies, or whatever they need to be successful. We learn as a group when new technologies come out and know our electricians, low voltage contractors, and lighting suppliers all have to be in sync when plans and selections are made. We want our internal and external team to have comradery and be proud of what we are building together.
When the pandemic hit, it was a big goal of our management team’s to make sure that these small businesses had the tools they needed to survive. We understand that everyone from our homeowners to our trade partners and vendors are all part of our team and we refer to this as “culture by community”.
