Young Guns and Legends 2025
This month, I had the privilege of being featured in Pro Builder’s Young Guns and Legends issue, a publication that recognizes leaders shaping the future of the home building industry. It is an incredible honor not only for me personally, but for Larsen as a whole. Our team has spent years building a company rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to raising the standard for custom home building in Colorado. Being included in this feature is a reflection of that collective effort.
When I started at Larsen 15 years ago as an admin assistant, I never imagined I would one day own part of the company. My career grew one opportunity at a time, often beginning with a simple yes. Those yeses were not always glamorous. They didn’t always feel monumental. But looking back, they were the small decisions that changed the entire trajectory of my life. They led me toward leadership, ownership, and a deep belief in the power of showing up fully for every role, every challenge, and every chance to contribute.
That belief is also why it has become my mission to help more women enter and thrive in our industry. Home building has long been a space where women’s perspectives, talents, and leadership are needed. You see so many women on the Larsen team because we know how important it is that the voices designing and building our homes reflect the voices who will live in them. Representation strengthens our work, broadens our thinking, and creates better homes for the families we serve.
Jeff and I have also been intentional about building a culture that supports life, family, and flexibility. We know people do their best work when they are able to thrive in all parts of their lives. That philosophy has shaped our team from day one and has allowed us to grow into a connected, collaborative group grounded in community rather than competition. Our success comes from working together, listening to each other, and recognizing that we are stronger as one unified team.
This recognition from Pro Builder is not the end of a journey. It is a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much opportunity lies ahead. Larsen is growing, evolving, and expanding into new areas including furnishings and landscaping, and I’m proud to help guide that growth alongside our exceptional team. Together, we are building homes, but we are also building careers, partnerships, and pathways for others to succeed.
